The Indo-German Cooperation on Agricultural Market Development (AMD) organized two days orientation program for the newly joined Project’s Field Executives. The training program was conducted from 7th to 8th April 2023 at the CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS NIAM) Jaipur. The project Deputy Team Leader and Agribusiness Expert, Pratyush Ranjan Singh oriented the Field Executives about the project objectives, result areas, and good agriculture practices focusing on cultivation of cumin, coriander, ginger, turmeric, green chili, and mango. Mr Gajjan Singh Verma, Project Officer of the AMD project gave a detailed overview of the project’s ongoing activities and highlighted the findings of the major studies conducted under the project. The Project Field Executives were also trained on the European Union market regulations, specifications and requirements. The Field Executives of the AMD project will provide technical support to the implementation of project activities in the states of Odisha, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh
