Training and Capacity Building Approach

  • This intervention area aims at providing staff from government institutions with customized training, mentoring and capacity building measures to improve the knowledge and skills of market functionaries, and staff of agricultural marketing.
  • Working with the relevant institutions, appropriate staff members will be identified to act as multipliers within the framework of a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme.
  • Organize customized training programs related to topics like – EU agri-food marketing standards and quality assurance systems, Certification systems and processes, Global GAP, traceability, etc.
  • Conduct and facilitate international study trips to Germany/Europe providing targeted information and to deepen the exchange of experience
