The German delegates Mrs. Johanna Scholz, Division 624 “International Projects, Twinning”, German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), Germany and Mr. Martin Kuntze-Fechner, Project Manager, GFA General Agent, Bilateral Cooperation Programme of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture visited Indo-German AMD project office and met with the AMD team. The AMD team discussed the current status of the project activities, related issues and their solutions.
Later, the AMD Project team with German delegates visited the CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM), Jaipur Rajasthan, India, and met Dr. Ramesh Mittal, Director, of CCS NIAM. The delegate discussed the project ongoing activities and collaborations for future activities. After the discussion, the German delegates visited the CCS NIAM Agri Innovation & Incubation Centre. Dr Mittal further expressed the need for further collaborations with the Indo-German AMD project in the areas of Agri startups, research, and consultancies in the coming months. The German delegates at last visited the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) at Newai, Tonk district to learn about APMC functions, facilities, and schemes and the marketing support provided to the farmers.
