Today, The Indo-German Cooperation on Agricultural Market Development (AMD) Project collaboration with GLOBALG.A.P. Academy conducted an awareness webinar on the GLOBALG.A.P Certification training program for the participants from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Departments CCS National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS NIAM), Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Spice Board of India, Directorate of Marketing Inspection (DMI), Rajasthan state Agricultural Marketing Board, Jaipur. Mr Pratyush, Deputy Team Leader of AMD project gave an overview of the training program to all the panelists and training participants. Ian Lucey, Project Manager of GLOBALG.A.P. Academy welcomed the panelists as training participants. Ian Lucey and his team member Mahinda Wohome explained with objectives of the awareness training program like Introduction to GlobalG.A.P. mission, vision and the Global G.A.P. system, Global G.A.P. Strategic Pillars, Governance, and Certification Worldwide, Introduction to Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) scope: fruit and vegetables and Information about the registered training program and the role of registered trainers. The awareness webinar was attended by 25 participants.
