The Indo-German Cooperation on Agricultural Market Development (AMD) review meeting was held on 22nd Nov. 2023 at Krishi Bhawan under the chairmanship of Shri Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, IAS, Additional Secretary (Marketing) Govt. of India, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. Mrs. Johanna Scholz, Division 624 “International Projects, Twinning”, German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), Germany along with GFA and ADT representatives were present in the review meeting. The objective of the meeting was to review the current implementation status of the project and approve the upcoming action plan and AMD project-related problems and probable solutions.
The Deputy Team Leader and Agribusiness Expert of the AMD project, Mr. Pratyush Ranjan Singh, presented an AMD Project Status Against- Work Plan 2023-2024 and discussed about rationale and activities that can be undertaken by the project for a one-year extension of the project. Mr. Alfons Urlings, Team Leader, of the Indo-German AMD project presented the Work Plan for upcoming six months and discussed the result areas implementation approach, methods, activity plan and management issues. Seven e-books related to Agri-Export Import Management Training Program was also inaugurated by Shri Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, IAS, Additional Secretary (Marketing) Govt. of India, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
